Dr Murata holds a PhD from the University of Oxford (St Anthony's College), UK, in modern Japanese Zen philosophy.

Through an extended engagement with senior Oxford philosophers and with spiritual masters representing different traditions, Dr Murata is uniquely qualified to assist and inspire clients.

Drawing upon his extensive academic and experiential research on deeper states of consciousness, he helps clients to discover greater fulfilment at work and deeper meaning in their lives as a whole. He connects theories of oneness with the actual achievement of happiness in clients' lives.

Originally from Japan, he has lived in many regions of the world. This rich international experience contributes to his flexible, non-judgmental attitude towards his clients. He lives with his wife, Dr Brenda Boyd, in Victoria, BC, Canada.

事事無礙法界　
大宇宙の中では、すべてが妨げがなく自由に溶け合い交流している。　全ての出来事や物事は、独立して存在していない。　深い宇宙の物事や出来事と、この現象界の出来事や物事は実は常に共存し溶け合い繋がっている。　

即非の理論　
ある何かと、それ以外の物事や出来事の全ては、実は溶け合っていて区別が出来ない。
山は山であって山ではない。　山は山でないから山である等と、一見不思議な論理で仏典などで表現される事もある。
しかし、ある山とそれ以外が区別が出来るのは、この平面的な３次元の心を使っているからである。　
そうでない、そうれが成立しない深い所まで分け入ってみないと、深い物事は実は何も分からない。　

一念三千
人間のほんの小さな短い心の動きでも、その中に大宇宙の中の全ての物事や働きがすでに内在しているという考え。天台宗の考え方。
